Less noise, without batteries or pairing

EarSaver uses padded ear cups to reduce incoming sound physically. There is no Bluetooth, music playback or electronic active noise cancellation. You can still hear some surrounding sound: these earmuffs reduce noise, rather than create silence.

Adjust the fit to suit you

Extend the headband and position each cushion fully around your ear. Adjust both sides until the headband sits securely and the cushions form an even seal. Hair, glasses and headwear can affect that seal. Comfort and fit vary from person to person, so try them in a quieter setting first and take breaks as needed.

What to expect from noise reduction

This model is listed with an NRR 25 rating. A laboratory noise-reduction rating is not a promise that every sound will be reduced by 25 decibels in everyday use. Fit, the type of noise and how the earmuffs are worn affect performance. Do not use this number alone to decide whether they are suitable for a hazardous-noise workplace; check the product documentation and your workplace requirements first.

Are these for adults or children?
These are the adult-sized EarSaver model with an adjustable headband. They are not the Hushies Kids model. If you are unsure about fit, contact Sleep & Sound before ordering.

Will they block out all noise?
No. They soften surrounding sound, but voices and other sounds can still be audible. They do not play audio or use electronic active noise cancellation.

Can I use them for sleep?
The over-ear cups can be bulky against a pillow, particularly for side sleepers. They are better positioned as earmuffs for waking activities and quiet breaks, rather than a dedicated sleep solution.
