The Plugfones Protector does music. The Protector PLUS does everything else too — music, calls, and full hearing protection, all from a wired earplug headphone built to handle a real worksite.
The difference between the Protector and Protector PLUS is the IsoTalk noise-isolating microphone. It sits inline on the TuffCord cable and filters out background noise so the person on the other end of the call hears you clearly, not your environment. On a loud site, that matters. You can answer calls, communicate with supervisors, and stay connected without pulling your hearing protection out.
Everything else carries over from the Protector: ANSI-certified NRR 29dB with foam tips, NRR 27dB with silicone, NIOSH compliant, OSHA approved. The TuffCord tear-resistant cable handles the abuse of daily site use. The double-reinforced 3.5mm jack won't pull out when you catch it on something. Quickdraw controls are glove-friendly.
Available in standard and Volume Limiting (VL) versions. The VL model caps output at 82dB for workplaces where audio compliance is required alongside hearing protection.
