Night Sweats VS Sweating at Night

Night sweats are heavy sweating during sleep. This type of sweating is different from occasional sweating that some people have from being in a deep sleep, or in a warm room, or from having too many blankets on. Night sweats are often so heavy that your clothing and sheets are soaked to the point that you have to change them.

Night sweats and hot flashes are very common among women around the time of menopause/peri-menopause. If you are around age 50 and are having irregular or absent menstrual periods, and have no other symptoms, this is likely the cause of your symptoms.

Made from a patented yarn, with just a trace of natural fibres, Dri-release® combines the best qualities of both – it wicks moisture away from the skin, and it’s soft to the touch.

A Freshguard® treatment embedded in the yarn virtually eliminates odour. Our range of sleepwear and loungewear will benefit anyone who tends to overheat when sleeping.

How Does it Work?

Quite simply, it works by drawing moisture away from the skin.

Dri-release® uses a patented blend of natural and synthetic fibres (poly/cotton). The natural fibres absorb moisture, pulling it off the skin and into the fabric. Synthetic fibres repel moisture, forcing it through to the surface of the garment, where it evaporates quickly as airflow moves across the fabric. So, Dri-release® moves sweat and moisture from the skin, through the fabric and releases it into the air 4 times faster than 100% cotton, and faster than any other performance fabric.
